Maddie is almost three years old and we cant believe how much she has learned.  She plays imaginatively, making up stories while playing alone with toys and animals.  Her favorite movies were Nemo and Shrek 2 for the longest time, but mostly now she is into her favorite TV shows like Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, and WonderPets.  She also "reads" to herself with a great deal of inflection.  Almost daily Maddie can be found dressing up in her princess costume, putting on her makeup to "look beautiful," and dressing her animal friends.  Above all, Maddie enjoys getting a quesadilla at Taco Bell and going shopping with mommy!

This year Maddie made two trips to San Diego: one in April with mommy and one in June for two weeks with the whole family.  This year Maddie also went "swimming" at the local pool several times a week but was apprehensive about "tubing" at a friends lake house in August!  She recently visited Grandma and Papas house in Kentucky at Thanksgiving where she met her Papa for the first time and also her new buddy, Aunt Joanne!
