Landen is almost a teenager and very busy with schoolwork in 7^th grade.  He is in his second year in the middle school band, playing trombone and getting ready to take private lessons next semester. Landen also participates in the chess club at school, and occasionally beats his dad in a chess match at Subway before bible study on Mondays.  Landen is active in his small group at church, on the "tech team" for "Vertical his junior high youth group, and recently attended camp at Cloud 9.

This summer Landen also enjoyed visiting San Diego for two weeks in June, a friends lake house with the family in August, and swimming at the local pool several times a week!  In November he drove a tractor at Gramma and Papas house in Kentucky, visiting them for the first time for Thanksgiving.

Landen loves to watch 'Lost', make movies and is currently working on his first novel.
